To-nites gig @ the Cross Keys turned out to be one of those unexpected gems that comes around once in a while when you least expect it, we turned up this evening wondering what to expect with this evenings band Jarred were making a last minute debut appearance ,I don't know were this band as been hiding but they treated the Keys faithful to a brilliant performance which had nothing but praise from everyone who were lucky to attend this evening. Jarred are a four piece outfit who hail from the Cleckheaton Bradford area but i still find it hard to believe we have not heard much more of this band who were as tight as my wallet & played two sets of music which were of different contrast in styles you normally here , from a classic number from one of top Aussie band Midnight Oil yes them & there famous hit Beds are Burning to Kasabian's Im on Fire Michael Jackson's Beat It to the rocking sound version of Jarred & plus not everyone's cup of tea but Greendays latest release East Jesus Nowhere lastly to close the evening with Rod Stewart's Maggie May adapted to a more upbeat rock version once again.Great repertoire from a great band & hopefully will get to see them more on the circuit.
