This Saturday top band from south of the region The Rakkateers played the Cross Keys & produced two masterful & blistering sets to an audience of punters & local celebs which establishes the band as one of the premier bands on the yorkshire scene. Due to an early start which saw a fairly sparse crowed but soon developed into a good turn out for this all action band & shows what credability as a live act this band draws. After a two week lay off the band seemed as though they were hungry to get back on the gig trail & thankfully the Cross Keys was included in this & was left with one of the highlights of the year & will be long remembered.During the course of the second set the local movers & shakers was treated thanks to the generosity of the Rakkateers a couple of guest celb spots with Andy from Styckleback doing the vocals & Steve on the pots & pans preceded by Jay from The Jd Band also leading the line firmly supported by Kev from Styckleband on the sidelines Knockout evening by a band that deserves all the credits it receives.
