Not the best of turn outs for thr return of Hardshoulder after a lengthy lay off unfortunately this seem to be an increasing trend on the live scene lately which is causing a few concerns on the band & venue front around the live scene hot spots, they keep saying the recession is coming to an end but try telling us that north of Watford gap i guess as to how entice the punters out i don't know but hopefully if we all keep plugging away & supporting the venues & bands the corner will be turned.Back to Hardshoulder the extended lay off seems to have done them well & recharged there energy's two masterful sets featuring a wide & varied selection of numbers played with the highest quality that this band as become well respected for around the venue's .I last saw the band perform a@ the Frontier Club downtown batley which seem to increase there reputation of a hard working band with unique quality's guaranteed to grace any stage, the Keys was quiet early on luckily a few more wandered in out of the cold to make the evening look a bit more respectable but hats off to the guys in the band they played as though it was a full house & produced a great night of music.
