Once again Phoenix Rising produced a master class performance @ the Cross Keys featuring a great collection of rock classics played with a high level of professionalism which is rapidly becoming second to non, in which turn is lifting Phoenix Rising a band which is gathering a reputation a name throughout the live scene for conigers of the classics & just your everyday music lovers alike. From Chasing Cars to Brick in the Wall Clive's silky vocals enable the band to adapt songs with which they leave there own impression on the song strongly supported by Steve Fingers on bass & Lighting boff supreme & Steve one of the areas most underrated pots n pans man to Phoenix Rising's own axe man Martin who even not a hundred percent & climbed out of his sick bed for to-nights gig gave a masterful display on guitar & added the there own unique version of House of the Rising Sun a touch of guitar work brilliance & had the Keys crowd mesmerised by his fret work . Another outstanding performance & light show not much more i think Steve can add as the subject arose while i chatted to Martin during the break but watch this space great all round evening well appreciated by a very knowledgeable audience as the Phoenix Rising band wagon rolls on.
