More on One Fat Spider

This Saturday was a special landmark @ the Cross Keys , whilst this evening's band One Fat Spider were playing it was also a night to remember for the bands bass player Sue who's brain child Pink Rock 2009 was played out @ the Keys earlier this year presented the two Charity's involved in Pink Rock received a cheque for £3090 which by to-days standard was a tremendous effort. The band played there part in Pink Rock & on the night had a stormer of a gig & to-nite was no exception. the band was as solid as ever delivering there own brand of music & mirth which as brought them up to the fore front of the local scene to-day. With there choice of music more apparent to the modern /brit pop scene & Paul's one man stand up show between songs you just wonder how mush further they can take it to be honest a lot of punters are drawn in to here Paul one liners & audience participation @ first by word of mouth or re-views but they then come to appreciate just how good that band is as a unit. One Fat Spider are one of the hardest working bands & have grown a reputation from either of the big divide on the M62 & will not shirk a gig big/small/new or regular venue.Unfortunately this evening was not as full as it deserved to be but the movers & shakers still had a ball & even did a conga round the Keys ending up to my horror on the stage,got to draw the line somewhere, Excellent evening must admit got there & was feeling a bit leggy but the Spiders soon pulled me round & topped off an Excellent evening.
